What is Preconfirmation?

A preconfirmation is an early commitment or signal about transaction inclusion or execution before the chain's usual confirmation or finality point. The strength of that signal depends on who issues it, what is promised, and how the promise is enforced.

How does Preconfirmation work?

A sequencer, proposer, or specialized participant responds before final settlement. Some systems provide economic commitments; others offer an early view without equivalent guarantees.

What should trading bot developers know about Preconfirmation?

Preconfirmation is not synonymous with finality. A trading system must distinguish an observed message, an inclusion promise, executed state, and finalized settlement.
