What is Atomic Arbitrage?

Atomic arbitrage executes linked on-chain trades within a transaction that either completes as a whole or reverts. A successful trade cycle aims to finish with more value than it started with after protocol fees, execution costs, and any financing costs.

How does Atomic Arbitrage work?

A contract executes the swaps and checks the final balance before returning. If a required swap or profitability condition fails, the transaction reverts rather than retaining only part of the trading cycle.

What should trading bot developers know about Atomic Arbitrage?

A reverted transaction can still consume gas. Atomic execution inside one transaction is different from a provider's multi-transaction bundle guarantees, and it does not make a CEX leg atomic.
