AWS positions C8ine for higher packet performance per vCPU and greater throughput through internet gateways than its previous-generation C6in family. It offers fixed network bandwidth by size and uses EBS-backed storage.
The family is relevant when a strategy stack has substantial external data ingress or transaction egress. Network bandwidth alone does not establish latency to a particular RPC, relay, or builder, so test the complete route in the intended Region.
